I've surely been slacking in the photo department this week,

planning a wedding has just begun and I'm already stressing!

Sorry if I haven't been around to visit as much.

Why in the world is there so much to plan and do? 

But yes it will all be worth it! :)

Camp on the River

I always love to look at the camps along the river. Some are actually homes and some are camps, some are so beautiful and new and some have been here along this river like this one for as long I can remember. I thought since this camp was old it would look better in a black and white tone.

Project 366 Rewind | Week #12

We had a pretty good week, mostly rained, but kept busy.

Here's my week in pictures.

Sunday-We went boat riding it was such a beautiful day! Todd just could not resist casting a line, he said he was practicing for Monday's fishing trip. :)

 Tuesday-I noticed my Iris' were blooming in the garden, love the droplet on this one.

 Tuesday-I found a bird nest in the daycare kids' waffle blocks.

Wednesday-My grandson enjoying a cupcake, I'm happy he's here for a few days.

 Thursday-Vallon and Kaden engrossed in the Lead Pad Explorer, I believe they were playing Cars.

Friday-Before we brought Vallon home we stopped at Todd's job and gave him a ride in the company semi. This child never stopped smiling, (look at that face) and he pretended to blow the truck horn ALL the way home! :) 

Saturday-We had to turn in and pick up my daughter's work for homeschool.

I cherish these little whimsy frogs, this is the first gift Todd bought me, when we first met!

My Amaryllis' have sprouted

I'm excited to have captured this guy swinging from a rope at the river...

and then dropping in the water!

I've been trying to get a decent photo of these guys for a few years on the river. Same spot and location. We just can't get too close in a boat or they will fly away! Finally, I'm happy with this shot. :) Who know's next time, just maybe I will be able to get a little closer.

 This first image is from Laura at L to the third. I LOVE this iron fence,  but that "Green" bokeh is incredible! Very beautiful image!

This image is from Emily at Scattered Horizons. Love the sun rays in this shot, the landscape, and her HDR effect is beautiful.

And little Jax, just the cutest little boy! Melanie from Happy Jax shot this image while Jax was looking at the Emu's. I love the perspective of this shot, just beautiful.

This week's theme is "Still Life"

Here is my take on it...

These old photos are of my dad in Korea, along with his watch and wedding band. The old camera I thought would fit well with the old photos, and the crate I use to housed my old cameras. I preferred sepia over black and white for this, I've been kinda stuck on the sepia lately. 

I hope I staged this properly, what do you think?
