Show and Tell: Water

I took this photo at our local zoo. We were actually inside a building and the otters were outside. I love visiting them, they are always active, playful, and make everyone laugh.
Since I took this indoors the light was sort of tricky with the glass. I opened in PSE and brightened and lightened and added a texture from Kim Klassen called Oh My, Multiply @ 100%.

Day at the Park

Recently we took Vallon to play at the park and they also had a water feature there to cool off with. He had a blast. Here is one photo I took that day.

This one I opened in Pic Monkey.
I lighted, brightened and cropped the image.
I used the Airbrush feature over the entire image to reduce any noise.
Lastly used the Effects, choose Yester-color, and that's it!

Thanks for stopping by,
Lori

Sunday Fun | The Hibiscus Field

As we were driving along the River Road, the Historic District in the town I live in, I saw the beautiful field. A field I know I've passed several times. But this particular evening, the sun was beginning to set, it had a beautiful glow, and I noticed the field. I had Todd pull over, I was in awe over the Hibiscus growing all over wild. It was just so beautiful.
Before I could take any photos of the field, this guy was sitting perfectly still on a fence for me. This has to be my new favorite!

This is how the field looked, just so plentiful! I love this plant!

I can't help but wonder if these are the Disco Bell Hibiscus? Their shape seems to be so round. And all were white.

There also was a pond.

And this big bad boy! So very beautiful.

Just look at that moss!

Another favorite. As I was leaving, I noticed these Morning Glories(?) growing on a tree. This is what I took, LOVE!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
