Project 366 Rewind #37

Last week I seem to be non stop, always something to do , something going on. It sure made the week go by fast!

Here is some of it in rewind...

Sunday- I began working on Vallon's birthday party invitations. I did finish that afternoon. His birthday isn't until Halloween, but this is out of the way!

Monday-Sweet pretty little Em came to spend the night with us. She wasn't feeling well though.

Tuesday-LOVE this shot I took of Todd shooting his bow. It took about seven times but I got that arrow in the air!

Wednesday-Finally caught the humming bird! Ah, I had to be patient! Is there white humming birds? I swear one flew to the feeder. I missed it cause I was in shock!

Thursday-I opened an Etsy shop. I will made a cute header later.

Friday-I cooked the best roast ever! Hehe! Thanks to this crock pot!

Saturday-Vallon brought me a balloon poodle, so cute! He is so thoughtful!

Well, that's it!
Thanks for visiting,
Lori

Project 366 Rewind #25

It felt like a pretty long week. But I did get plenty must needed rest Saturday, so I should be ready for this week.

Let's rewind last week:

Sunday- M.y grandson's t-ball. He had no interest in my photographing him that day. :)

Monday-My daughter bought him his own pizza to make and bake. He really enjoyed that!

Tuesday-A baby bird ran up to our door as we got home. Later we watched as he tried to fly. So sweet!

Wednesday- My Hydrangea's are beginning to bloom.

Thursday-My grandson insisted I get a picture of this red bird in the backyard! :)

Friday-I took several pictures of this dragonfly. This is one of my favorites. I didn't realize how ugly their faces are!

Friday-This is a view of my Lantana's through my side garden fence.

My favorite photo this month has to be my Hydrangea!

Thanks for stopping by and viewing our week!

Project 366 Rewind #23

Hopefully everyone had a wonderful weekend and a great Father's Day! Our weather has cleared up and and it was a very pretty weekend, last week not so much!

Let's rewind my week!

Sunday-Preparing to scrapbook old photos, I found a baby photo of my grandson tucked away in one of the old albums. I have no idea why I put it there. Love this picture!

Monday-I was outside chasing that ole' woodpecker again!

Tuesday-One of my daycare children brought us fresh veggies from his garden!

Wednesday- We canned blueberry jam in daycare. My first time ever and I am proud! It tastes so good! The recipe can be found HERE on my other blog.

Thursday-We have been having plenty of rain lately. You know the old saying it's raining cats and dogs? Well this morning it came true, this cute kitty showed up at our front door in all that weather. We found her a good home, whew, because if not, you know....

Friday-Happy mail! I ordered skeleton keys from Etsy for the wedding to go on the favor boxes. Not vintage technically, but there is no hope trying to find this amount in an antique shop. This will work. My daughters already want to make a necklace out of them!

Saturday-I took this photo of my daughter in the evening, I love the way the sun highlighted her hair. Sorda seventies feel, cool!

Thanks our week in pictures!
Thanks so much for stopping by,
Lori

Egrets Tones and Textures

Today I found myself playing around with this photo of an egret I took recently. I love this bird  and the photo I took, he was just so still taking in his moment.

For this first one I really just lightened and gave a little contrast, then cropped the photo.

This one I changed to Black and White, cropped and lightened a bit.
For this one I added a vintage feel and lomo, I like this one.

And lastly for this one I cloned out the background to give more of the bayou feel and added a texture from A Rural Journal called Victoria, @ 88% Soft Light.

Project 366 Rewind #21

Week 21, the end of May, wow, the year seems to be moving along fast!
This is my favorite photo for the month. I love the fact that I captured the butterfly actually feeding.

Let's rewind my week!

Sunday- My son Scott will turn 25 Monday, he wanted to go tubing behind the boat and have a fun day on the river!

Monday- Darien's cute lace socks. She is such a sock person. :)

Tuesday-My wedding Smash book arrived from K & Comapny!
 I love it!

Wednesday-A storm came through and blew this limb down on top of my Crepe Myrtle tree.

Thursday- The baby birds on my back porch peeking out of their nest.
Friday-Todd had the day off and built me a garden bench! Love it!

Saturday-Todd and I went shopping at the antique stores looking for vintage items for the wedding. I found this adorable vintage 1940's train make-up case! Total score! This will be used for guests to place cards in. I have to make a "CARDS" sign to hang in it. I love Pinterest!
All and all we had a pretty good week!
