I went outside yesterday afternoon to take pictures of a butterfly that had been feeding on my Lantana. In the process of waiting for it to land I could see something moving on the bush and took a closer look. Which I thought was a Walking Stick, but turned out to be a Praying Mantis. So I began taking pictures of it. I was excited about capturing it. He was moving sort of fast, so I kept snapping, and then I saw a fly...
I couldn't get over what I had captured with my camera! I have never witnessed this with my eyes before.
The photos are not too clear, I guess snapping away, and his fast movement, I wasn't thinking or having time to focus.
I still love what I captured!
Thanks for stopping by,
Lori

That is awesome! I've never seen one of those in real life before!
ReplyDeleteOh how fun Lori! But I'm thinking that looks like a praying mantis, he has a triangular head and really long forelegs. Just amazing that you were able to capture him capturing a fly, just wow!!
