Foto Friday #50 | Simple + announcement



Welcome to Foto Friday!

Last week I mentioned Foto Friday's one year anniversary is approaching! WOW! A whole year, it's really hard to believe.
I want to thank everyone for joining in each and every week, and thanks to the new comers, I really appreciate everyone staying with me!

On June 29th is the anniversary. Last year Foto Friday began actually on my birthday July 6th! To show appreciation, there will be three prizes to be given away on July 6th to three photographers! 
Prizes are from Etsy sellers, I'm so excited!
Friday July 29th will be the entry date. No theme "Photographers Choice" just as last year.
To be fair I have asked someone, everyone knows to be our judge and announce the winners.

Kim from Mom Tried It agreed to be the judge and I am thrilled! If for some reason you do not know Kim, make sure to visit her blog and get to know her, she has lots to share!

This first image is from Em @ then along came the boy. Love this flower, love this shot, and the composition is perfect! 


The next image is from Nancy @ A Rural Journal. This is just so beautiful! The texture is nice and the birds, well it's perfect too! Looks like something maybe from a mystery movie, right?

Here is my take on it...
I used PTM Urban Delight actions for this shot. I wanted to give it a more vintage feel. I'm still really not comfortable with actions. But this works.
